SERVICE & MAINTENANCE

WARRANTY DETAILS AND POLICY

SCOPE OF WARRANTY

Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (hereinafter called 'Hero Motocorp') warrants its motorcycles and scooters (hereinafter called 'Vehicles') assembled/manufactured in its Plants and sold through its authorized dealers, to be free from any defect - both in material and workmanship, under normal use and conditions, subject to the following terms & conditions.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Hero MotoCorp warrants all its motorcycles for a period of 5 years or 70000 Km and scooters for a period of 5 years or 50000 Km, whichever is earlier, from the date of purchase.
It is mandatory to avail all free and paid services from the Hero MotoCorp's authorized workshop(s) only, as per the recommended schedule, to be eligible for warranty benefits. Each paid service should be availed within 90 days from the date of previous service or as per the recommended schedule, whichever is earlier.
If any defect is observed in the vehicle, Hero MotoCorp's only obligation/ liability is to repair or replace that part/ those parts which is/ are considered to be the cause of such defect, provided however that such defect has not resulted due to misuse/ improper handling etc. of the vehicle. Any vehicle needing repair should be brought along with Owner's Manual as well as Owner's manual-supplementary to Hero MotoCorp's authorized workshop(s) for necessary inspection and rectification job.

Storage tips for your vehicle when leaving idle these days

Weekly run engine idle for 60 sec to ensure proper fuel circulation.

Park the vehicle on main stand on levelled surface to avoid damage due to fall.

While the vehicle is parked on main stand and engine running, shift the transmission in all gears for lubrication

Sunlight can damage seat and cause paint to fade. Clean, dry and store vehicle under a shade or keep it covered.

Weekly run engine idle for 5-6 minutes too keep the battery charged.

Maintain recommended tyre pressure and remember to rotate them once a week to avoid a flat spot.

Minimum fuel to be maintained above:

One segment blinking of fuel level indicator ( in case of digital fuel guage ).
Red band ( in case of analog fuel guage ).

Hero MotoCorp offers free services on all its two-wheelers. You should avail these services within the stipulated conditions of time period or km range, whichever condition gets satisfied earlier from the date of purchase. After the completion of free services or its validity period you must continue availing paid services as per the recommended service schedule.
